This new collection
of modules are designed to combine the amazing sound quality of
analog synthesizers with the advantages of a numerical synthesizers
(presets, memories, programming). Most of their parameters can also
be voltage controlled in addition to digital control because it is
extremely important to have analogic control in addition of digital
control.
These modules can be integrated with your legacy systems to bring
you new preset and automation functions. These modules can be
controlled many ways including direct control interaction or
automatic remote interaction through MIDI messages sent from a
master keyboard, control surface, computer, or hardware/software
sequencer. For instance, a LFO can have its frequency or wave shape
continuously and automatically modified during a song. All the
ACXBus modules have memory bank to store all parameters and to be
used as presets.
In addition to these automation functions, the number of parameters
of these modules has dramatically increased. For instance, the dual
envelop generator has 13 different parameters per envelope. Thanks
to the presents and automation, a musician can recall any
configurations on stage, even the most complex ones.
These top quality modules are reliable and powerful enough to be
used on stage and in studios. The inputs/outputs are protected
against any possible connection errors. They are built with high
quality components on industrial PCB and use powerful 32 bits
processors and 16 bits DAC. Importantly, maintenance is facilitated
by socket supported IC’s.
Affordability and quality are of paramount importance because price
should not hinder musicians’ creativity.
MIDI to CV
This is the last version of the ACX MIDI TO CV. It is based on a
high precision 16 bit DAC, a 32-bit processor and a display/encoder
system to precisely control all parameters. Like all ACX Bus
Modules, it can be programmed and automated using MIDI control
change. You can change the output voltage type (Note, Velocity,
AfterTouch, Modulation, Control Change #2 on 14 bits), or the signal
type (gate, variable length Triggers, MIDI Clocks, Start/Stop
messages) on any of its 4 independent voices. It works on MONO mode
or four different polyphonic modes. Amongst its functions, it has a
large choices of scales, V/Hz, transposition, MIDI clock
divider/multiplicator (independent on all its voices), and finally a
high precision tuning directly by encoder.
DUAL LFO
This module is based on two independent LFO with amazing
capabilities: large frequency bandwidth from 0.008Hz to 270Hz, 12
waves, wave symmetry management, volume level adjustment, Tap Tempo,
internal/external sync, Start/Stop, 8 voltage controlled, or
modulation controlled parameters for each LFO, and 27 parameters
that can be automated or modified by control change.
DUAL ENVELOPE GENERATOR
More than a simple ADSR, this new original generator is a DABADSOR
type can create very complex envelope. It includes two independent
generators. Each offers 6 envelope types, 7 wave shapes, and 9
voltage controlled parameters. Nevertheless, it remains easy to
parameter and thanks to its memory banks and Modes that allow you to
change from one envelope type to the other. It has 37 parameters
that can be automated or modified by control change.
WAVE TRIGGER
This module is just the integration of the famous
robertsonics Wav
Trigger into a Eurorack module. This little sampler is much easier
to use because the sound bank selection and MIDI channel are now
controlled directly from the encoder.
WiMI Wireless USB
The WiMI (Wireless MIDI) USB Module transfers MIDI messages on a
wireless 2 way link. It connects directly on a computer USB port or
a standard MIDI device - Keyboard, Master Keyboard, sequencer- DIN
connector. It exchanges data either with another WIME USB module or
with a Eurorack WiMI Module.
WiMI Wireless Eurorack
The WiMI MIDI Module transfers MIDI messages on a wireless 2-way
link. Up to four MIDI devices can be connected in download mode.
Eurorack compliant, it can exchange data with another WiMI Eurorack
module or the WiMI USB.
LINE DRIVER
The Line driver is a must have in a modular synthesizer. It allows
direct connections on preamps, mixers with no limitation on the
cable length. It solves all impedance, distortion, and noise issues.
Based on professional audio components, it remains affordable and
easy to build.
VCA
The VCA has a wide dynamic range of 120 dB and a distortion ratio of
0.01% (A Model). This module gives you a pristine sound. It has two
mixable inputs and its logarithmic response gives a great dynamic.
It remains affordable and easy to build, perfect for SDIY beginners.
GATEWAY
The ACXbus gateway connects eight ACXBus compatible modules with
only one MIDI cable. All the parameters of all the modules can be
stored in its memory banks and be used as presets for the all
synthesizer. To avoid latency, the transfer rate is 320 times faster
than the MIDI one.
